While at one point the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did have a policy regarding food storage for pending civil unrest or an end of the world scenario, currently they do not. The LDS does, however, mandate that their members have a stockpile of food to last at least one year. This is down from a previous policy stating that members of the church stockpile at least seven years of food and water. These precautions aren’t taken presently for an¬†apocalyptic event but rather in the event of extended unemployment, sickness, and focuses more on self-reliance than survivalism.
